Thanks to those who have responded. Actually I have a pretty good grasp of
the obvious. I can see that it is an Omnidex error and that it involves
dataset MACORD30. What I really want to understand is, what does it mean
when a generic key range "collapses?" What kind of activity can cause this
error? What tools exist to examine the health of Omnidex indexes?
I am hampered by the fact that I have no Omnidex manuals, and efforts to
acquire some have been unsuccessful. In addition, Omnidex is licensed
through our application vendor, so I can't call DISC directly for technical
support, and questions that should be answered in minutes take days. Any
additional info would be appreciated.
