Ranting and Raving ------
An HP friend suggests that maybe HP should spin off the 3000 division and
call it Indigent (sic Agilent, re Indigo).

Has anyone heard about HP's internal "UNLINK" project to take stuff off the
HP3000 and move to the 9000 and NT?? (not a good sign)

I've also heard that quite a bit of MPE work is going to India.

It occurs to me that HP is letting the 3000 die on the vine and that this
is a concious, calculated, stealthty strategy.

I'm sending in my check anyway just for the hell of it. As for my vote:
Basic marketing 101, talk about benefits instead of features. What is the
benefit to HP of pushing the 3000?
