It was generally the responses to Mr Baier's emails that I found offensive.
I don't mind the political debate on either side even if I disagree with the
side, but I don't like the name calling and especially don't like the use of
the "Herr Baier".
I realize that it is just the German word for Mister, but it seems done
with a malicious intent as if to remind everyone that he is of German
descent. This doesn't have anything to do with the argument and I can't
think of any justification for singling him out this way. (Heir by the way
isn't a German word)
Some of the members on the list are also guilty of Baier baiting :-) There
have been several emails with subjects like "Here's one for Mr Baier", that
seem to be nothing more than an attempt to get a rise out of Michael.
Just my 2 cents worth.
