depending on your requirements).

Sorry but I must disagree.  10BaseT refers to one particular
configuration of cable that Ethernet supports.  Others are 10Base5
(thick), 10Base2 (thin), and 10BaseF (fiber).  This is all defined by
IEEE 802-1990 (Standards for Local and Metropolitan Area Networks) and
its derivatives.  In particular cabling requirements are defined in
IEEE 802.3 (CSMA/CD Access Method and Physical Layer Specifications).

Now I've got to take a break.  Reading IEEE documents makes my head
hurt :-)
