John,
I would use the following web page as a starting point.
http://hpcc920.external.hp.com/computing/mvp/main.html#CALC
However, bump the operating system minimum up to about 30 to
40 MB's.
And don't be afraid to over shoot.  More is always better.  And
the way MPE uses memory more always allows more stuff to stay
in memory and helps eliminate future I/O's.
