Hello all IMAGE users,

Back on 15 Dec 99 I noted that Wed 16 Feb 2000 will be the
"Database Day" at SIG3000; where SIGIMAGE, SIGHPSQL
(formerly SIGALLBASE), and SIGOMNIDEX will be the only
SIGs scheduled to meet on that day.

I also said:

> We will try and reserve about two hours (total time somewhat
> dependent on response to this call for participants and other
> agenda items) for IMAGE users to lead short focus sessions

> sites. ......

And the response so far (except for one HP Expert Center
person who said they might be able to lead a focus session
of the pros and cons of PREFETCH): A great silence....

.... well.... O.K...: Having gone nearly a month without more
volunteers, I'm now going to also open this up to the rest of the
SIEC. Trying to do my part, I volunteer myself to lead one 15-
or-so minute focus session. My title is:

"The case for NOT letting SQL access to IMAGE fall behind
Microsoft SQL/Server 7.0"

Additional volunteers on other subjects still gratefully accepted...
or is everything going so smoothly for most users that there is
NOTHING else you want HP to improve / fix / enhance in
Image/SQL ??... somehow I doubt that.... :-)
