They are fairly the preferred type of file when you are using Taurus'
bridgeware coupled with Quests' Netbase when you are DYNAMICALLY moving
data from your Image databases to other platforms that are using SQL or
Oracle.

Since the records disappear when read, and they only need to be read
once, it becomes kinda self maintaining.

As mentioned previously, they have risks.
