I suppose at the stratospheric level of the new HewPaq HP
Corporate *could* make a decision that in the big scheme
of things the MPE user base is small enough that those
customers are "acceptable losses" and expendible.  But IF
they have convinced themselves that "MPE / ex-MPE users will
stay with HP no matter what", then all I can say is HP has a
major denial and delusion problem...  If the public status
quo is still in place by HPW-LA, HP better be ready for a
significant "attitude adjustment"...
