"ALLOWME" functions by changing the ALLOW mask in the JIT (Job
Information Table). The JIT has not changed from 4.0 to 5.0 and
neither has the pointer to the JIT DST; this pointer is in the
PCBX portion of the CM stack.
 
It sounds like you have a very good, though not particularly
convenient for you, version of a PM program which recognizes
that it should not run on a version of the OS which did not
exist when it was written. Maybe someone else has a version that
recognizes, and is compatible with, 5.0 and will let you know
how to retrieve it.
