On a completely different subject, John Boggle, former CEO of Vanguard,
wrote in today's Wall Street Journal:

'As Demosthenes warned us two-and-a-half millennia ago, "Nothing is easier
than self-deceit. For what each man wishes, that he also believes to be
true."'

I wonder if there's an MPE command to turn off self-deceit?
