When there is a glitch on the network between our two HPs then any attempt
to FTP between these two servers causes the FTP.ARPA.SYS <FTP.ARPA.SYS>
program to stall.  (I have to either CTL-BREAK the program or abort the
background job that was attempting to run the FTP program).

A typical script we're presenting to the FTP client program is below - am I
missing something ?
