"True Pull" is a term used internally by HP's manufacturing folks to
describe the process by which customers can obtain shipments.
Basically, the True Pull process involves mailing documents
describing the revised product (in this case, the Communicator)
along with a mail-back card. In order to obtain the revised
product, a customer need only return the mail-back card (or fax
it in), and the manufacturing organization knows all it needs in
order to fulfill the order. Easy & efficient.

But since we (MPE) have used the terms "Pull" and "Push" in the
past, it is perhaps unfortunate that we've exposed this internal
terminology to you. Sorry for the confusion.
