migration from one volume set another volume set with Build acct and mirroring

Hi all,

Due to crashing the Hard disk I lost all the previous mails.

I am going to install mirroring on my 968RX. I need your valuable help for
some doubts.

1. My current disk status is as below

I know I can not mirror to ldev 1

For mirroring I need another 7 disk with the same capacity

I have 2 disk's are inside the cabinet. Root + one another.

Now for mirroring I have to remove that 2nd disk from the cabinet. For
mirroring purpose. I am right.

I am going to fix 2 nos JAMAICA box on different S.E. controllers.

If I am not removing that ledv 2 from the cabinet. It was easy for me to
restore the data as it is after adding the Mirroring software and Mirror
Disk's. (INSTALL and RESTORE) (other wise Ldev 1 and other disk remain on
the same controller) for mirroring purpose I have to remove that disk from
cabinet. So except root I can mirror all the Ldev's


My questions are :

1.      On my system we did not specified about the Root Volume set. So
system files spreaded on all the disk's. Will   mirroring       take  place
in this situation. Is mirroring take place with Ldev's.

2.      How I have to create Account Structure for the New Volume Set.

3.      Can I remain the Volumeset name's same as they are existing.

4.      How I have to restore the data from old backup to New Volume set
with the old account structure on new Volume Set.
