Try the following in your job:
!run mpex.pub.vesoft
copy @.group,=.newgroup
exit
!eoj
You can change the "copy" to "rename" if you want, so you won't have two
copies of the same files. Also, if you don't want the access/modify
date-time stamp to change (i.e., you want the date-time stamp to remain the
same), add ";keepamdates" after the "newgroup".

Subject: RENAME
We are trying to rename files from one group to another in a job. We were
hoping to be able to do something like the copy command (copy
x.oldgroup,.newgroup) so that we would not have to respecify the name since
we are grabing a list of files and using qedit to create the rename
commands. MPEX seemed to be the ticket but can't quite get it to work. Any
ideas?
