Hi, Andrew

I just visit QWEBS site http://qwebs.qss.com/ , Looks very good.
COBOL on HP3000 can be turn with HTTP1.1 Front -End with
TCP/IP connection, Do not require the POSIX extension on
MPE/iX.

Cheers

I want to write some new applications in COBOL on the HP3000 (because I
don't know any other language or machine). I want to have nice 'GUI'
type screens running on the PC but all the processing running on the
HP3000. It would be useful if these programs would be platform
independent. I have been to Microfocus COBOL and AccuCOBOL
demos/workshops, I know that these will run on UNIX boxes but does
anybody know if these programs will run on the POSIX shell of the
HP3000? Or do I need to look at Legacy-J?

Any comments gratefully received.
