Let me clarify something here... I'm not "moderating" the list in the
traditional sense of the word. There was a "MAC IS S**T" cross-posted
flamefest going on in comp.sys.hp.mpe that was by definition being echoed
to this list. It was *really* bad back before HPWorld '96 but settled
down until last week. I have been reviewing ONLY incoming posts from
the newsgroup [comp.sys.hp.mpe] and discarding ONLY those crossposts.
I don't have time to really "moderate" - I was just filtering out the
expletive-filled flamefest fallout.

Seriously though... many people have expressed interest in an "executive
summary" of key points brought out here, or at least a filtered subset
of really relevant postings. This is becoming almost do-able as a
separate list (likely a moderated digest) but I'm not ready to commit to
the time [yet]. Listserv can support a "panel" of moderators and dish
out the load in round-robin fashion if there are others willing to devote
some time and effort. Any volunteers should contact me directly.
