The problem (if you can call it that) has been around for longer than just
today.
As far back as my personal AOL mail stack goes, which is only to January 6th,
I've been noticing the same curiosity. However, you can't use the HP3000-l's
archives to go back further in time and tell when the problem began. The
archive automatically deblanks all leading blanks in the subject line, thus
everything there looks fine.
I'm on several mail lists that Jeff Kell maintains, and they all are acting
the same way, so at least we know who to blame :-).
