Greetings fellow members of the list,
A potential customer wants to use FTP/SSL to exchange files with us. We
currently have a home-grown application that uses MPE/iX's FTP client
(FTP.ARPA.SYS) and were looking for a way of using it for them.
Recently there was a posting on this list about SSL where it mentioned a
download was available, from Jazz, that would allow you to turn MPE/iX's FTP
client into an FTP/SSL client.
I have looked at it and would like to know:
1) Is anybody using it in a production environment?
2) Does it work with non-SSL FTP servers?
3) How does it perform compared to the standard client?
Any answers, via the list or privately, would be highly appreciated.
regards,
