I have heard that some older IBM PCs don't support more than one NIC and I
suppose it may also be true of older HP Vectras. It is part of their
"added value" over whitebox clones that has yet to catch my fancy.
I can't imagine not being able to connect to two or more IP addresses
simultaneously from any PC. That is, of course, assuming that they are on
the same LAN segment or the traffic can be routed.
