The state government had already made the decision to have all punch card
balloting machines replaced with "other" mechanisms (mostly the touch
screens) by the general election to be held in March. One of the ideas put
forth in the argument to delay the recall election was that, by that time
the existing plans for equipment replacement would have solved this problem.
In essence, the litigants were saying "we know the machines don't work and

It would seem to me that 'Project Management' skills, and the background
that they carry,
would be somewhat universal.  Platform skills are platform dependent.  If
I were looking, I
would focus my resume on the universal skill set rather than platform
dependencies.

If I wanted a platform or application dependency, then yes, ORACLE and SAP
would be a great
place to start.
