Powerpatch 4 and I'm slow

I installed PP4 over the previous weekend along with all current patches
that are in GR beyond PP4.  I also installed Omnidex 3.04.61E
simultaneously.  Since then we have been extremely slow.  Looking at
glance, it show impedes on a number of processes.  A stack trace in
glance shows they are waiting at GETSIR, often in response to a
DBOPEN.  The system is a 995-500 with 1152 MB of memory.  Has any
one else seen such degredation going onto PP4?
