I was really worried when I read this. But looking at the Patch Database
online at the ESC, if I read this right, MPEKX54B has MPEKX76A listed
under "Dependency SCO" which I take to mean that MPEKX76A is one of
MPEKX54B's dependent patches. MPEKX76 says it has *no* dependent
patches, though it does have a patch-to-patch dependency: "MPE/iX 5.5
customers should apply MPEJX83 and MPEJXL8 at the same time."

This explains why we have MPEKX76 loaded and not MPEKX54 and we aren't
having other problems. <*whew*> However, it doesn't look like MPEKX54
will solve the FINFO problem, either. It seems to be a patch to fix
"shadow errors" received during online backups. I'll keep looking...
