Actually, the number does change if you have just received a new system
with the system already pre-installed - or re-installing from the latest
factory preload tape (fpt). So, clearly, HP has chosen to do it - at least
for brand new systems.

So, instead of seeing C.55.00, you would see C.55.02 - which is what I
believe it should be - and I can't really see why the installation of
PowerPatch 2 cannot make it so. But it does not currently.
