We have a 7980S magreel tape device that is not responding--that is, we
put the reel tape in, but it is not coming online.  Sysgen gives this:

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but I also show that a user is logged
into the system using ldev 15:

One last thing.  SHOWDEV TAPE does not list the device:

Any suggestions as to what we can do to uncover the problem of the
disappearing tape drive?
