Let me strongly second Bob's suggestion: If you have more
than just a few concurrent ODBC users on Image/SQL doing
serious ODBC access (I won't try and define "few" or "serious"
right now; as usual, YMMV) and / or are doing anything like
the above where the ODBC client access to the 3000 needs to
be multi-threaded: Take a close look at one or more of the 3rd-
party ODBC drivers. I am aware of three well-established
vendors that sell multi-threaded ODBC products for the 3000:

(1) The LINKWAY driver from Computing Solutions Limited
(distributed in the Americas by CSILLC).

(2) The Data Express product from M. B. Foster, which
includes the ODBCLink driver (not the "/SE" version).

(3) The ODBC/32 driver from Minisoft.

Contact info for all of the above can be found at
www.3k.com/ and individual vendor web sites....
