Look again. The setting I mentioned is called "Return Equals Enter in
Block Mode"

Thanks. I know about Return=Enter and that doesn't do what I want.
Return=Enter makes the Return key do a block mode Enter, but then when you
drop out of Block Mode you have to turn it back off or you can't talk to
character mode apps - like MPE.
The emulator knows whether it's in Block mode or Character mode (The Modes
fn keys will show it when they are displayed). If the emulator is in Block
mode I want it to do a block mode send when Enter/Return is pressed. When
the Emulator is in Character mode I want it to do a character mode send when
Enter/Return is pressed. I don't want to waste my energy/time/keystrokes on
some Alt-Enter or Numeric keypad Enter kludge - that's what computers are
for. Like I said, QCTerm has spoiled me.

P.S. I just found, modified and installed a macro script that does what I'm
looking for. Now all I do is press enter without worrying about what Mode
the emulator is in. The computer (Reflection) does the correct type of send
based on the Mode. I'll post the information in a few minutes. I want to do
just a little more testing.

There's a setting called "Return Equals Enter in Block Mode", which I think
is what you want. To access it, chose the menu item "Setup", then "View
Settings", then type "return" in the search box.

By the way, that View Settings dialog box is great and I haven't seen it in
any other software. Is it original with WRQ? What a good idea!
