Does anyone know how DTC Manager (on OpenView/Windows) "talks" to the
LAN? I know it speaks "AFCP" (right?), but does it go through Sockets,
directly through TCP/IP, or all the way down to NDIS (or ODI)?

How about SNMP Manager?

Finally, we got the OpenView /Windows Work Station "pre-configured"
and AdvanceLink won't work over the AdvanceNet connection. It says
either the network hardware or software is not installed. The DTC
Manager works just fine.

Also, how do I find out what TCP/IP address and NodeName HP entered
when they installed the thing. Could it be that they didn't enter
any at all? Would DTC Manager still be working if they haden't?

Thanks!
