In my younger days, I spent about 20 summers in the Poconos -- while I lived
in Philadelphia. During those years, the Poconos were in NORTHeastern
Pennsylvania. I know about tectonic plates, but I doubt that the Poconos have
moved that much! Philadelphia, of course is in SOUTHeastern Pennsylvania.
