The text the above URL points to says, in part:

   Note: to handle multiple reels, or to handle STORE tapes created 
   with the MAXTAPEBUF option, please see our X-Over product! 

It's always difficult to determine where we should draw the line between
free utilities and products.  For us, we've decided that the 
difficult code that handles super large tape records falls into the
product category.
