Hello
      I'am meena doing a project  in ISO bangalore about printing spool
      files from MPE 5.0 through a UNIX m/c. My design is to
       1.   have a server running on UNIX box which talks to
            the printer through LPD.

       2.   The clients run on MPE 5.0 . The client is runnig
            on the posix environment which communicates with
            the server using SOCKETS.The communication
            process is fine but the spool files when printed using LPD
            prints junk in the beginning of every line.I suspect that
            these are some control characters could any one suggest some
            way to avoid these characters.If anyone has already
developed
            some code to do this please help me out by giving it to me.

       3.   I tried writing a code to remove these control characters
            but the program hange and dosen't print anything. I tried
            checking whether these characters fall in the ASCII range
            if so print them else ignore them.

            Any suggestions/ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.
