Well, the last time I was curious enough to have a closer look
at their web sites and source code download pages, it seemed to
me that the build process relies on some runtime version being
already available (to generate some header files or xref data
or somesuch -- my quick look was quite a while ago)...

However, it might still be a good idea for someone with Interbase
knowledge (or maybe a running version on another platform) to have
a look at porting it. Don't just wait for someone else to do it.
