here are the directions for the meeting:

Live Attendees
--------------
Maple room, Building 46L, Cupertino site 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

The room will be available starting at 8:30 AM.

Rather than using the main lobby for Building 46, we will have a
special entrance set up from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. We will be using the
doors adjacent to the Maple room, at the east end of the site between
Building 46 and Building 45.

After 9:30 AM, people will need to use the Building 46 customer lobby.
We will leave instructions in the lobby with a cell phone number to
call. Then, people will need to wait to be escorted to the Maple room.
After 9:30 AM, all entrances and exits from/to the meeting will need
to be escorted through the Building 46 lobby.

Virtual Classroom

You can use the following links to enter your event:

Meeting attendees can connect to the Virtual Classroom starting at 8:45
AM. People should test their set ups before then.

If anyone will be presenting slides who is *not* present in the Maple
room, then I will need to send them a special URL for the Virtual
Classroom.

Teleconference Numbers
----------------------
People can start connecting to the teleconference starting at 8:45 AM.
Of course, they'll have to listen to "music" for 15 minutes. The
dial-in numbers are:

(888) 584-2187 (U.S. and Canada Toll Free)
(706) 643-0132 (International)

Conference ID: 8786974

(i did not type the above as you can plainly tell :-)

i found directions to the maple room and have the following map and
general directions out on invent3k:

<http://invent3k.external.hp.com/~MGR.GARVERIC/map_and_directions_to_maple_room.html>

for those that have been to the cupertino campus many, many times...you
probably know how to get there better than what i've put together.
feel free to pass your wisdom along :-)

as a reminder....

you do NOT have to be a member of openmpe to attend this meeting --
simply someone who is part of the larger mpe community.

there is NO cost to attend the live meeting. hp is graciously
providing morning and afternoon refreshments. we may (but the decision
hasn't been made yet) order lunch for the attendees. if this does
occur, we'll collect money at the beginning of the meeting (it's hard
to let go of a captive audience, you know :-) to cover that expense.

finally, if you have any questions you'd like to have asked during the
q&a session, please send them to me. they'll all be forward to the
appropriate persons. - d
