Subject: [HP3000-L] OT: Dean Kamen's 'machine'...

Some of you may remember an HPWorld conference keynote address given by
Dean Kamen...the inventor of the Segway.   At the end of his presentation he
unveiled another mechanical device which he brought that was a miniature 
working
model of a wagon whose design was quite old.   It's purpose was to keep a
cannon pointed in the same direction regardless of the direction of movement
of the wagon.

Does anyone recall anything about this (name, inventor, etc.) as I'd like 
to try and
find a picture?
