You should not be surprised because it does not fit. Bosch is pronounced
'Bawsh', not Bowsh (bow as in bow and arrow) as in my name. As for my
knowledge of French, well perhaps it is not perfect, but you should know that
it is my first language. I only learned English 2 years ago (I know, it
shows.)

Why would I change my name?

I thank all of you for proposing a SIG in honor of my name. However there is
nothing 'special' and/or of 'interest' in and about me or my name. But if a
SIG were to be formed, one of the first objectives would be to make sure that
the adherents were capable of at least writing the name properly, let alone
pronounce it. I have seen Evan spell it Beauchamin, and Paul spell it
Dennys, and so on...

I propose that we drop the SIG idea and quietly terminate this thread which
has nothing to do with the HP3000 save for the fact that I am an ardent
supporter and user of said computer.

Now get back to work, all of you! :->

Kind regards,

Denys. . .
