Given the fact that you had *that certain machine* delivered today...
ahem...I'll leave it at that. (OK, I know, testing! :-) But I have to
say in defense of the Mac - setting a Mac server up as an Internet server
was extremely easy (once I found the software) and the machine itself is
an easy set up. Unfortunately, it's a Wintel world out there...
Actually - to be serious - Windows 95 has had 32-bit code since it was
released, but it does have 16-bit code for <<backward compatibility>> -
something that was necessary for 16-bit upgraders to continue running
their apps.
But with MS and others abandoning the 16-bit world and delivering only
32-bit apps, look for that to change as Windows 95 evolves...
