I'm not sure I really understand your question.  But, I think you
are stating that getting data out of an ASK database is difficult
and that you need to generate reports from that data.  Have you
looked at the DataExpress product supplied by MB Foster?  It lets
you generate adhoc reports from Image databases, disk files, KSAM
files, etc., including data fields in ASK formats.
