When I offered the info below, I assumed an unsupported connection was
being made via a mux card (925, 935, 95X, 960, 980) not so much a
multifunction I/O card. Please forgive me if I guessed wrong.

Yeah but....
            You will probably notice that the port will be missing a few
taken-for-granted features when used as a session port. Don't be suprised
if the port won't speed sense or even change speeds unless you get a
logon at 9600 baud and use the :speed command. Also don't be suprised
if modem control signals are not monitored or manipulated by the system.
This means that you will probably be configuring the modem as if it were
connected to a direct connect port (force DTR, etc.) which means that
the modem will not disconnect at logoff, noisy line bumpoff, or forgot
to say :bye before shutting down the remote terminal. This being the
case the cable might as well be:

                            2 --- 3
                            3 --- 2
                            7 --- 7

and the modem control signals forced via jumpers or configuration.

Hi, I hope this simple answer, answer your question
Cabling Pinouts.
                COMPUTER                   MODEM
                25 PIN       92219Q        25 PIN
                  1 ------------------------- 1
                  2 <------------------------ 3
                  3 ------------------------> 2
                  4 <------------------------ 8
                  6 ------------------------> 20
                  7 <-----------------------> 7
                  8 ------------------------> 4
                  9 <------------------------ 22
                 20 <------------------------ 6
                 22 <------------------------ 5
                 23 ------------------------> 23
This is not a symmetrical cable. Therefore it is important the cable be
installed in the proper direction.

Regards.
