Calling all HP3000/Cobol-II gurus:

Our site is experiencing "bracket creep" with the NMSTACK= parameter
on the run command of a couple of batch programs. We've had to raise
the NMSTACK from 400,000 to 900,000 (in steps) over the past twelve
months to avoid the stack overflow run-time condition.

CONCERN: Are we heading for RAM overcrowding or other problems as
the NMSTACK continues to rise?

Are there other approaches to this situation?
