We have one.  We wrote X-OVER for Bering, and recently brought the
product back into the Allegro "house".

XOVER (pronounced "Cross Over"), copies NM or CM STORE tape sets.

If, for example, the original is on 23 nine-track tapes, the
copy could be on 3 DDS tapes, or 2 DLT tapes, or 39 smaller nine-track
tapes ... it's all the same to XOVER.

We're in the process of updating the documentation prior to
announcing anything formally.  (oops)

There's some kind of freeware program on Jazz, TAPECOPY, but I don't
know if it will copy from N reels to K reels.  My impression is that it
is designed to be a single reel to single reel copy program.
