 > Announcing the January '95 TCU Broadcast

> HP is very pleased to announce the third broadcast in the highly
> successful "Technology Close-up" . . . . . .

. . . .[snip] . . . .

> The TCU broadcasts have been an unqualified success. HP 3000
> customers can register for the January broadcast, or order
> videotapes of earlier programs by calling the CSY Customer
> Connection hotline (1-800-224-hp3k). The first TCU broadcast
> addressed client/server technology. The second, which aired in
> July '94, addressed release 5.0 of MPE/iX.

Has anyone had any success ordering the videotapes of the earlier
programs ? ? ?

I remember filling out a form that was mailed to this group for HP 3000
users to request the "free of charge" audio and video tapes of past
conferences about a month ago . . . . the majority of tapes I had selected
were the audio tapes and I also selected one video tape . . . . . I hadn't
received any response . . . . .

Recently I called the 1 - 800-224-hp3k listed above in George's message and
selected option 3 just like the menu on the other end had requested . .
I was then connected with a voice mail system and a message that said
" . . The mailbox belonging to The HP3000 Customer Communication Line
is full . . ."
then the system said to stay on the line and I would be connected to
someone to help me, so I did ,only to have that person connect me
to oblivion . . (I was then disconnected). . .
I then called back the 1 - 800 # and selected option 1 to register for
the IMAGE/SQL conference . . . . there I got a real person , after registering
for the conference I mentioned that the mailbox was full and that
I wanted to order video tapes of the prior two conferences she told
me that she can't process my request and that I'd still have to call
the 'full mailbox' to order the tapes ? ? ? ?

My question is has anyone had any success ordering any of the
material on past conferences that is supposed to be available ? ?

. . . . . just a sanity check. ; )
