Hi all,
I searched the archives and couldn't find any mention of the problem I
am having. I have SAMBA up and running. Everything is fine from the PC
side. The 3000 shows up in the network neighborhood and I can connect to
it no problem. The problem comes when I run smbclient -L EXLAX. Where
EXLAX is the name of my HP3000.  I get back the following:
Session request failed (0,0) with myname=EXLAX destname=EXLAX
Unspecified error 0x0
Your server software is being unfriendly
Now if I rename my RESLVCNF.NET.SYS file which contains the address of
my DNS server the smbclient command works fine.
