The VT100 will work for most character mode applications (such as :EDITOR),
but for best results, HP 700/92 or 239x terminal emulation is used. This is
because of the long-standing escape sequences used for cursor control used
by MPE and these terminals, which is not the same as the VT series.

The VT series are used mostly by Unix systems, and was developed by DEC.
For apps which require full-screen editing, an HP terminal, or terminal
emulator on a PC must be used. If using EDITOR, or QUAD in character (not
full-screen) mode, these terminals are useless.
