Hi there -L gang,
I have run into a problem I am curious if others have experienced.
We have a 979/100 running MPE/iX 7.0 PP1 plus latest reactive patches.
One of the things done during normal outages is to test our autorestart process.
During my last test, I experienced the following after having done a Ctrl-B
TC and allowing the system to go thru the dump-to-disc process which it did
successfully until the following point after the autoboot:
Booting...
Boot IO Dependent Code (IODC) revision 23
HARD Booted.
MMSAVE Version 2.7
DIMPAREA protected, proceeding toe ISL without memsave
ISL loaded
ISL Revision A.00.43 Apr 12, 2000
ISL booting
Bad utility file type.
Auto-execute file is inconsistent. Autoboot aborted.
ISL>
At this point I was forced to manually issue a Start Norecovery.
Has anyone seen this before ?
I have gone thru the process of recreating the autoout file (per the
manual), generating and updating form the SLT tape created, but to no avail.
TIA,
Dan
