Since gun control is essentially a religious issue, the
adherents of either side are unlikely to convert worshippers of
the other. It follows then that these kind of exchanges, while
undoubtedly important to the participants, are unlikely to gain
or lose any followers. Therefore they are pointless.

In short, those who believe that firearms are the source of all
evil and any who would own one should be punished for their
sins, can go sit in that corner; those who believe that if you
don't have a gun then you don't have a life, can go and sit in
that corner.

The rest of us will attempt to muddle through life no matter
which religion is adopted by the state.

Regards,
Jim
