You're right, Denys, and thanks for spelling out the details. I'd mentally
replaced New Yuck as you like to call it with U.S., thought of the fat cow
as Bill himself (the unsuccessfully impeached president) and readily enjoyed
the turn of tables toward the Great Bumsteer from Texas. My bad.

In order for political humor to be funny (and many other humor for that
matter,) it has to have some truth behind it. In this case, the fat cow
from AR (Hillary Rodman Clinton as US senator for NY, for the non-US
folks,
the fat cow is originally from Illinois, but set up residence in
Arkansas
when she married the future impeached ex-president) was indeed elected
by a
majority of voters in NY. On the other hand, the bum steer from TX
(George
W. Bush as US president) did not carry NY. So you see, changing the
protagonists does indeed invalidate the joke.

HTH.

Denys...

Well, it looked like a joke to me. Odd that changing "fat cow from AR"
to
"bum steer from TX" completely invalidates the joke for some pipple; it
flows exactly the same. Are they denigrating based on the sexual limbo
of
the steer?
