We are in the process of evaluating online backup products. I would
appreciate any and all comments you all may have on the subject. Our primary
concern is reliablity and up time. Of course cost is an issue.

We use HP's TurboStore/XLII Online. It's been extremely reliable, but does
require an "attachment" phase of roughly 5 minutes when users have to be out
of the databases. We launch these early in the morning, before users
arrive, so this isn't a problem for us.

However, I would recommend taking a look at Orbit's "no downtime" backup
solution if uptime is a major consideration.
