Hi Shane,

'hope I understood you right. In Germany we normally use A4.
An env. file containing

<ESC>Z          # display functions off
<ESC>E          # reset
<ESC>&l26A      # A4
<ESC>&l0O       # portrait             (default)
<ESC>&l3E       # top margin 3 lines   (default)
<ESC>&l64F      # text length 64 lines (default for A4)
<ESC>&l1L       # perforation skip on  (default)
<ESC>(8U        # roman 8              (default for MPE/iX)

should solve A4 problems regardless of your printer panel config.
To be sure, install patch MPEKXF7B and specify

serial_printer_simulation = TRUE

within NPCONFIG to avoid some problems when hitting the perf skip area
of the paper.
