This also caused us a bunch of headaches -- at least it should have been
documented as a change, IMO.

In our job streams, we use EXITONERROR in our command files, and then
test FTPLASTERR. Not that I like the idea that HP broke this; I also
wish that at least the number of the messages were the same across
hosts. But this approach has worked reliably for our single file
transfers. In fact, our transfers are in a while loop with a counter
that also tests FTPLASTERR, along with various other items to help
either make it work or tell someone to figure out what's not working.
