At my wife's teaching job at a private school they have a bunch of MacIntoshes on one of those goofy networks where she can't turn her machine off or the whole network goes down.

Of course they implemented a BYOP (bring your own printer) solution if you want to print anything. Her old hand me down HP1022n is the best thing in the in the immediate vicinity so the other teachers keep printing their stuff and using up her toner.

And of course her printer has to be "shared" or it won't work for her at all, because she is not the Net or Local Admin. The school hired geek is a lazy twit and won't take care of it.

Anyone know of another solution to block printing from anything other than her ID?
