You're right, Jeff ... I was thinking in terms of one catalogued user-level
UDC per user.

This will disable all user-level UDC files for "user ID".
You may wish to disable (or "uncatalog") just a single UDC file, which
can be accomplished as:
SETCATALOG filename;DELETE.
Note: this only works on your own logon, ie. the ";USER=name" parameter is
not supported when DELETE is specified. (I can't remember why!).
Use SHOWCATALOG to see what UDC files are cataloged.
